Meet the artist
Professional.
My name is Danielle Hart, best known as a Wisconsin Volleyball player where I won 4 straight B1G titles and our program's 1st NCAA National Championship. I now play professionally with the new PVF Omaha Supernovas & Athletes Unlimited. Since the fall of 2020, I have spent my time away from training creating stunning ocean epoxy resin art for clients all over the country.

Local.
Inspiration is easy having grown up minutes from the Virginia Beach oceanfront, but my favorite go-to? Aerial ocean photography.

Badass.
Each piece is crafted using a mix of epoxy resin, acrylics, and quick blasts of high heat reaching temps as high as a 1000 degrees with both a heat gun & a butane blow torch. After time in the studio, the back of each piece is then sanded for a smooth surface and wired for hanging.

Epoxy resin is a unique medium that I’ve fallen for as it carries many characteristics of the ocean — it is somewhat predictable but rather uncontrollable. Epoxy resin is a thermosetting polymer, also commonly used in the making of surfboards and boats. It can have a mind of its own, resembling the water's movements oh-so-well while leaving a stunning glossy shine after the final torch. It is important to me that no piece feels rushed-- that the time is allowed to let my creativity flow & get lost in my work. Each piece is made with a whole lotta love and attention.

One of one.
It never gets old watching each piece come to life in its own unique way. Learn how to care for resin artwork here.
